How long does shipping take?
 
Please allow 10 - 14 business days for your order to be processed and shipped to you. Our average ship time is 5 days, however varying cirumstances may delay the delivery. We ship using Fed Ground, 2nd Day Air, and Overnight. The package weighs 50lbs. and for the basic cruiser the box is 57" long by 27" high and 7" wide. Ground Shipping is guaranteed for Christmas Delivery if orders are placed before 12:00pm December 19, 2008. 2nd Day Air Shipping is guaranteed for Christmas Delivery if orders are placed by 10:00am December 22, 2008. Overnight shipping is guaranteed by Christmas if orders are placed by 10:00am December 23, 2008.
 
What date do I have to order by to receive my purchase before Christmas?

My bike has arrived damaged, what do I do?
 
You will need to submit a damage claim to our damage claims department in the form of an email. The email is damageclaims@beachbikes.net. A picture will need to accompany all damage claim emails or we can not replace any parts. For more information on the damage claim process please visit our Damage Claim page.
 
If I choose to order my bike and have it ready for pick-up, where do I go?
 
We have three retail stores that you may choose from to pick-up your cruiser and/or accessories. If you select "pick-up assembled" or "pick-up un-assembled" during checkout, a Beachbikes.net employee will contact you when your bike is ready. Once contacted, you may stop in anytime we are open to get your bike. Bikes are generally ready 4-7 days after ordering. Frequently bikes can be picked up the day after purchasing however if a bike needs to be ordered or if there are several other pick-ups scheduled ahead of yours then the pick-up process will be delayed. We will do our best to allow you to pick-up the bike when it is convenient for you. How much assembly is required?
 
Your bicycle will arrive 80% assembled. The remainder of assembly is very easy and takes approximately 15 minutes. Please see our Assembly page for details on how to assemble your brand new cruiser. Any cruiser ordered for pick-up can be assembled for $20. All prices on our website are for purchasing the bike in the box, if you purchase the bike assembled from any of our retail locations the cost will be $20 more than what is listed on our site.

My rear fender has been dented or bent, what should I do?
 
All rear fenders come with a pre-fabricated crimp to allow clearance for the chain when mounted. First, double-check that this is not the preceived damage. If, upon further inspection, you find real damage please email a written explanation along with photos to damageclaims@beachbikes.net. Please visit our Damage Claims page for more information on the damage claim process.
 
 
What does it mean if the bike I want is OUT-OF-STOCK?
 

The inventory listed on the website is the inventory of the actual Manufacturer. If it is listed as out-of-stock, the Manufacturer does not have any in distribution until they make more. Feel free to contact us and we can give you an estimate as to when the manufacturer will have a specific back in-stock. In the case a manufacturer is out of stock of a certain we cannot we cannot accept any back-orders. Items marked "out-of-stock" will generally be available again within a couple weeks.

The inventory listed online does not reflect the inventory of our store locations. However, if it is list "in-stock" online, our stores can get the bike within a couple days. Please call ahead if you are looking for a specific bike.
 
 
How do I order fenders?
 
Fenders can be found in the Accessory section. The Firmstrong fender colors will be color matched to the corresponding bike. Firmstrong fenders will not work with all models cruisers, for compatibility questions please contact us.

Can I come see the bikes and our purchase the bikes at one of your locations?

Are the prices online the same as in the stores?
 

Our in-store prices may differ from online. Our stores are staffed with a wide variety of product specialists and support staff, each of whom make an effort to be responsive and pleasant to deal with. We're also able to provide a customer with any item from our inventory to ride and examine in person. The cost of this customer service is an increased overhead for our in-store prices, to pay for the store space, the training of our employees, and other considerations not present online.

In addition, we must pay our bicycle assemblers to build each bicycle so it can be on display and ready for purchase in the store. The cost to assemble each bicycle is based on the bicycle model, packaging, components, and detail work required for assembly.

We're happy to offer reduced prices online and hope that you will be satisfied with your purchase no matter where you decide to buy.
 
 
The bikes are pictured on the sand, Can they ride on the sand?
 
Bikes cannot ride on dry sand. It is possible to ride on wet sand but not recommended.
