We ship using Fed Ex and USPS. All bicycle ship via Fed Ex. We estimate packages will arrive between 5 - 7 business days from the date the order was placed.
Once packages are delivered to the address specified by purchaser Beachbikes.net is no longer liable for any lost or stolen packages. Packages will be sent not requiring a signature for delivery unless otherwise specified by purchaser during checkout. To require a signature for delivery an additional charge of $4 will be added on to purchasers' total. After a package has shipped if the customer requires it to be re-routed to a different address the customer will be charged a $10 re-routing fee (A fee charged by our carriers). If a package is refused by the customer for whatever reason, the customer will be responsible to pay any additional shipping costs the carrier may charge Beachbikes.com for the return shipment of the package.
Shipping Processing and Transit Time
Advertised transit times of shipping methods do not include the processing time. Allow 1 - 2 business days for order processing from the date of purchase. Aside from the 1 - 2 business day processing time all packages will arrive in the advertised transit times. Transit times are as follows:
USPS First Class Mail: 5 - 7 Business Days
USPS Priority: 2 - 3 Business Days
Fed Ground: 3 - 7 Business Days
Fed Overnight: 1 Business Days
Fed 2-Day: 2 Business Days
If you receive a damaged item you need to submit a damage claim. For more information on the damage claim process, please see our Damage Claims page.
If a product appears to have a manufacturer's defect, please submit a written explanation of the problem, along with photos (if problem can be protrayed with an image) to DamageClaims@beachbikes.net.. For any claim we must be notified within 7 business days from the date the bike was received. We will respond within 5 business days of your submission. DO NOT return items to us without receiving instructions. BeachBikes.net is not responsible for manufacturer's defects, but we will do our best to facilitate claims made by customers. Generally, the bicycle will not need to be returned, and if photos and the explanation submitted by the customer are thorough enough replacement parts can be sent to remedy the problem. In the case a complete bike or part needs to be returned due to a manufacturer's defect, you must first receive a return authorization from a Beachbikes.net associate. No packages will be accepted without a return authorization from a Beachbikes.net associate. After the return is authorized please have the parts or bicycle packaged and ready for pick-up by the freight carrier. Beachbikes.net will arrange a pick-up of the bike or parts to have it returned to the manufacturer. Once the damaged bike or parts has been returned, an inspection will be done and the case will be handled accordingly. If it is decided that new parts and/or a bicycle will be sent, they will be issued and sent via the same method as how the original order was sent. From the time the bicycle and/or parts arrive back at the manufacturer it can take up to 16 business days until the new parts and/or bicycle are received by the customer. For some manufacturers' defects Beachbikes.net will allow customers to have their bike repaired at a local bike shop that is convenient to the customers' residence. In this situation the customer will only be reimbursed for the cost of repair if they first have the approval of a Beachbikes.net Employee to take their bike in for repair and the cost perameters. Our expert staff knows how much each repair should cost and we will not credit anything above what we have deamed as the correct rate. We will be glad to facilitate your claim with the manufacturer but manufacturer's defects are the responsibility of the manufacturer. As such, you agree to indemnify Beachbikes.net from any such claims.

In the case that the customer accidentally receives the wrong bicycle or accessory, DO NOT send back the wrong product received. Contact us first and we will arrange a pick-up of the product. Once the product is picked up we will have the correct product sent out. Please note if anything is sent back to us using a method not first approved by a beachbikes.net associate beachbikes.net will not cover the cost of the return shipment.
All of the bikes we sell on our website come with a manufacturers' warranty. Every warranty differs by brand. For more information on the manufacturers' warranty for the bike you purchased please visit the manufacturers' website. As a general guideline the manufacturer will replace any parts failing during the warranty period. The shipping fee will not be covered by the warranty. Unless otherwise provided, the sole remedy under the above warranty or any implied warranty is limited to the replacement of defective parts with those of equal or greater value at the sole discretion of the manufacturer. You will be responsible for labor and shipping costs associated with warranty replacements. We will be happy to help facilitate manufacturer warranty claims within the first 90 days of purchase. Thereafter it will be the responsibility of the customer to contact the manufacturer direct.
In general, some things not covered by a manufacturers' warranty are the following: Gear or brake adjustments, Any alteration made or aftermarket part installed on bike by customer, Wear and tear to bike, tires or components, Damage as a result of any bike accident, Damage attributable to shipping damage, rust accumulation, blemishes, broken spokes. We do not warranty broken spokes due to rust, rust is a result of the environment and rust will corrode spokes if it is allowed to accumulate and eventually it can cause the spokes break. It is important to wipe down your spokes every few days to eliminate any moisture build up on the spokes.
Tire and tire tube warranty: Any tire and tire tube that is pumped by a customer during the assembly process, whether the bike was purchased in the box at our store or received via shipment in the box will not be covered under warranty if the tire or the tire tube should pop after inflated by customer. Since a beachbikes.net employee will not be present during the inflation we cannot warrantly the tube or the tire without knowing if the tire wall was correctly placed inside the rim by the customer or if the tube was inflated to the correct psi.

It is assumed upon purchase that purchaser can assemble the items being purchased. This includes all bicycles, accessories, and other parts listed on Beachbikes.net for sale. Assembly refers to, but is not limited to, the assembly of the bicycle, accessories, or the assembly of an accessory or part to the bicycle. Beachbikes.net will not cover any labor invovled with repairing a bike that was purchased for shipping through our website. Warranty only covers parts. It is agreed that upon purchase purchaser is conveying they understand and have the ability to assemble and repair their purchased items as is necessary or as should be needed in the future.
If any product is subject to federal or state consumer warranty laws, our statement of limited warranty included with the product applies in place of these warranties. Misuse, accident, modification, unsuitable physical or operating environment, improper maintenance by you or failure caused by an item for which we are not responsible may void these warranties. This warranty replaces any other warranty, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
If you do not understand any of the terms of this Limitation of Warranty and Liability or their implications, please consult an attorney. This limitation on warranty and liability is part of the terms of sale, constitutes a binding agreement, and may be enforced against you. In addition, Purchaser agrees that the total of any and all liability, regardless of fault, shall be limited to the total of your bicycle purchase with Seller or $200.00 whichever is greater.
Under no circumstances are we liable for third-party claims against you for losses or damages; loss of or damage to your records or data; or consequential damages (including lost profits or savings) or incidental damages, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
The laws of the State of California shall govern this agreement. The parties hereby agree that any dispute relating to the Products sold hereunder shall be subject to the jurisdiction and venue of the Courts of Los Angeles, California.
All photos used on www.beachbikes.net are copyrighted and owned by 630 Enterprises, the parent company of www.beachbikes.net. Use of Beachbikes.net's photos are strictly forbidden by anyone other than Beachbikes.net and 630 Enterprises employees. No pictureat any time can be exploited by any party other than 630 Enterprises and Beachbikes.net. Beachbikes.net's photos are not to be used on or in any other medium unless approved by a 630 Enterprises employee. If any of Beachbikes.net's photos are found having been used by a party without the consent of a 630 Enterprise employee the party will be prosecuted, and forced to pay to 630 Enterprises a photo license fee of $500 per photo used multiplied by the number of days the photo has been used. All photos seen on Beachbikes.net can be licensed from 630 Enterprises for the amount equal to our license fee, as outlined above.
